From Augusta National Golf Club, A tradition unlike any other. Ladies and gentlemen,
we have officially made it to the best golf tournament of the year, The Masters. Conditions look
perfect all week with temperatures ranging from 70 to 80 degrees. I expect our champion to be
around -10 to -13 under par by Sunday. Who will take home the Green Jacket this year? Here are
my predictions.
Here are my three picks for this week’s tournament:
- Cameron Young
One of the hottest players in the game of golf is searching for his first major of his
career. With his phenomenal iron and putting play down the stretch to win the Players
Championship, he is looking to add a green jacket to his resume. Cameron is fourth in strokes
gained driving off the tee and second in proximity to the hole. Proximity to the hole is key at Augusta, as there are slopes every which way around the green. This would be a huge milestone
for Cam to skyrocket his 2026 season.
- Bryson Dechambeau
The driving machine, Bryson DeChambeau, is looking for revenge at The Masters
after falling short to Rory McIlroy in the final group at The 2025 Masters tournament. With two
wins already at LIV Golf’s Singapore and South Africa events, he is in perfect form to win his
3rd major. On the LIV tour, Bryson is third in driving distance, fourth in putting average, and
tied for first with six eagles already made this year. Bryson is looking to attack the par fives this
week at Augusta with his big driving distance. My prediction is he will be in the final group once
again come Sunday at Augusta. - Justin Rose
With three runner-up finishes at The Masters, Justin Rose is destined to break
through to win his first green jacket and his second major championship since the 2013 US
Open. With one win already this season at the Farmers Insurance Open, Justin is fifth on tour in
greens in regulation and ninth in strokes gained approach to the green. With a devastating playoff
loss at the 2025 Masters Tournament, you know this tournament has been circled on his calendar
for a year.
