With basically everyday feeling like Sunday, there is no need to actually wait until Sunday to have an incredible brunch. I consider myself a brunch connoisseur and I could quite literally have brunch all day, everyday.
Let’s get our brunch on and have some tasty bites with these must try recipes:
Cinnamon Rolls: These may seem like an obvious choice, but I am not talking about just any out of the can cinnamon rolls. I am talking about homemade cinnamon rolls. They are easier to make than expected, and are guaranteed to have your kitchen smelling amazing. Did I mention that homemade icing is to die for?!
French Toast Bake: Regular french toast is so last year, french toast bake now. Not only is this perfect to make for your family, but it is great reheated for breakfast the next day (or maybe even dessert later, I don’t judge).
Banana Bread: It seems like banana bread is the food to bake during quarantine – so, why not? It is quick, easy, and delicious and not to mention you probably have a few extra ripe bananas laying around that you forgot to eat. The recipe I linked doesn’t include chocolate chips, but you totally can (and should) add some on top.
Blueberry Scones: There is just something about a blueberry scone fresh out of the oven. Plus, I mean, you are basically eating fruit for breakfast. These are also great to store for a few days, so you can enjoy them throughout the week.
Pancakes: Put away the Bisquick! Homemade pancakes are actually super easy to make (and taste way better). Plus, you can’t have brunch without pancakes – it is not allowed.
Breakfast Burritos: Forget your burrito from Taco Bell, let’s talk about breakfast burritos. It is basically everything you could ask for – eggs, potatoes, avocado, and spinach all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. If you want, bacon and cheese would be a great addition.
Notable mentions: eggs benedict, frittata, waffles, and an oatmeal bake. All of them are awesome choices, but just not my favorite. Happy brunchin ‘!
