Warriors Crush The Wildcats

A great showing in North Andover last night, as Lawler Rink was filled with electric Merrimack and New Hampshire (UNH) students. The Warriors put up an impressive 6-1 win in their home opener. A tough day for the Wildcats, as they struggled to get really anything going on the offensive side of the ice. That could be because of Merrimack’s defense throughout the game, Goaltender Hugo Ollas had a total of 30 blocked shots last night , which really capitalize the dominating performance for his team. Forward Alex Jefferies had 2 goals on the night, which helped the Warriors keep the sticks hot for all 3 periods. Merrimack looks to take this impressive win to a Friday-Saturday doubleheader at home against the Colegate Raiders.
