This past weekend, Merrimack saw a record breaking number of people in attendance for Homecoming weekend, including current students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni. Between MACKtober fest on Friday, tailgating on Saturday, and more sports events on Sunday, campus was packed with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. On Friday, students and family could enjoy live music, hot cider, donuts and other delicious fall themed foods while playing cornhole or watching people get pied in the face. Saturday began with tailgating all over campus, from the Sak lot, the Rogers Center lot, to the lot behind Ash, while waiting for the football game at 1pm, followed by the mens’ hockey game at 7:30pm. On Sunday, the weekend wrapped up with the womens’ hockey team playing at 2pm.

“I love homecoming because its so nice to see all of the alumni and the families come together and show their Merrimack pride,” said junior Janelle Engrem.
