The 2013-14 Merrimack College Hockey season ended on Saturday night at Maine. As disappointed as we were, we were also incredibly proud to represent your college.
I would like to thank everyone who came up to Maine. Beginning with President Hopey (who made it possible), AD Jeremy Gibson and his staff for all their hard work, I would like to publicly thank every student, faculty, administrator, and staff member who came to a game or supported us in any way this season.
As difficult a season as this was, I cannot think of a better time to be at Merrimack College. The school has an energy that any visitor (especially recruits) sense as soon as they step onto campus.
This year has been transformational. Between the Merrimack Athletic Complex, Sports Medicine & Health Science Center, Academic Innovation Center, or new dorms, this college is on the move!
One season ends and another begins. Spring sports are already in swing. As the weather gets nicer, you can be sure Merrimack Hockey will be out to support their fellow athletes. We encourage you to do the same!
Lastly, I am confident this college and its hockey program will continue to set its goals high. Thanks again for joining us on the ride and for all of your support!
