The Merrimack College Men’s Tennis team is gearing up for a postseason run after a successful regular season.

The squad, who earned the #2 seed in the conference, fell short in the NE10 championship by a total score of 5 to 1 to #1 Southern New Hampshire University.

The Warriors saw double partners junior Frank Vega and freshman Alex Federov earn All-Championship honors after their performance.

The Warriors earned an at-large bid and will be the seventh seed in the East Region for the second consecutive season. The Warriors finished the season with a 10-9 overall record. This will be the 10th consecutive appearance for the Warriors.

Merrimack will play second-seeded Chestnut Hill (15-5) in the opening round, as the Warriors will travel to Philadelphia, PA. this weekend for postseason play.

If the Warriors win Saturday, they will advance to face either #3 NYIT or #6 University of District of Columbia.
