It is that time of year again, when Merrimack students have to begin thinking about where they want to live next year.
The room selection process for the 2014-2015 school year will be taking place April through 25. The process is open to all current students who are registered full time.
In order to be eligible to participate in the housing selection process, students must have paid their $500 housing deposit by March 14.
This year students will have the option to stay in the same building for next year; building renewal requests are due by March 14. Specialty and self-interest housing application are due by March 27.
Just like last year, this year’s room selection process will take place on MyMack.
Which day a student gets to choose housing for next year is based on the number of semesters lived on campus. Most likely, current juniors will choose first on April 23, sophomores will go on April 24, and freshman on April 25.
Between April 14 and 18 students will receive room selection time slots via email. Time slots are determined through a random lottery. Students who have lived the most semesters on campus (juniors) will receive the best time slots, then second most semesters lived on campus (sophomores), followed by the least number of semesters lived on campus (freshmen).
