Anthony Preston ’16
I’m Anthony Preston and I am running for President of the Student Government Association. I’m running for President because I am exceptionally proud of this community and all of the incredible things that we do. Whether it’s Relay for Life raising over $50,000 for cancer research, our incredible sports teams, Orientation welcoming in the newest generation of Warriors, or MPB bringing in the one and only Lee Brice, Merrimack continues to distinguish itself as a unique and special place that we all have the privilege of calling home. These shared experiences are just a few instances that make Merrimack worth serving, motivating me to run for President. I’m in this race to unleash our potential. In the year ahead, we will have countless opportunities, most notably the opportunity to restructure our dining experience, open a new residence hall, better serve our organizations and continue to strengthen the bonds between students and the administration. This exciting time of growth and movement at Merrimack calls for action and leadership. In the campaign ahead, I look forward to hearing your concerns, beliefs, and vision for our school. Most importantly, I hope to earn your trust, support and vote. Let’s make Merrimack great!
