Looking for something to do this Halloween season? Well here are three events that will get your skin to crawl with excitement and maybe even fear. The best part about all of these? They’re less than an hour away, so you spend more time having fun and less time getting there.
Spooky World: The Fear at Fenway – October 28 to November 6
For the first time in 20 years, SpookyWorld is coming to Fenway. For just 10 days only, experience the fright in one of the oldest ballparks in the world. At $45 it’s a hefty price tag, but definitely worth it for this kind of event.
Witch’s Woods
79 Power Road, Westford
(978) 692-3033
Open Thursdays through Sundays until November 2, Witch’s Woods offers attractions such as three haunted houses, a haunted hayride, a jack-o’-lantern jamboree, scenery and displays from your favorite classic Halloween movies, and loads of amusement park games. Admission is $32 but they do offer special and group discounts, so grab your friends and head on over.
Merrimack College Halloween Party
Augie’s Pub, First Floor, Sakowich Campus Center
Not a fan of haunted house or hayrides? Don’t have a way of getting off campus? Maybe you just don’t feel like spending money? Well guess what: Merrimack is getting ready for its second annual Halloween party in Augie’s Pub. There will be food, refreshments, one of our very own student DJs, Frankie Quincy, and a costume contest with multiple categories so make sure you come dressed appropriately because you may just walk away with a prize. Be on the lookout for advertisements by Residence Life or Student Involvement and make sure you come on by.
