The post office on campus now includes Packcity lockers, providing a self-service pickup opportunity for students. Students are notified via email when packages are ready and receive a scannable QR code and 4-digit ID numbers assigned to their package for an easy and quick pick up. Although the post office is open 8:30am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, students can go to the post office outside of the normal business hours at their own convenience.

“Most of my packages have been located in the locker and it’s made it so much easier for me to pick them up,” Junior Lauren Gilmartin noted. “Having later classes, I’m not always near the Sak until later in the day, so it’s been helpful to be able to grab my packages at night or even on weekends.”

Students have two days to pick up their packages before they are put back on the shelf, and will have to be picked up during normal business hours. Some packages will not be available for pickup via this system, and students will receive a traditional package notification if this is the case.
