Interview with senior Mechanical Engineering major Zac Camino. Zac is the Secretary for TKE, Secretary for Let’s Innovate and he interned at Schneider Electrics last Summer as a Control Systems Engineering Intern
Here are some of the biggest takeaways about the newest building added to the Merrimack College’s Campus:
- Called the “Center for Innovation, Research, Engineering, and Computer Science.”
- All engineering and most computer science majors have their classes in the new building.
- The new building also comes with lots of new upgrades including a new makerspace and a bigger machine shop. There are also new tools, parts, 3D printers, water jets, and a laser cutter!
- The food truck has permanently moved outside the building as well.
Zac is most looking forward to using the new Makerspace and Machine shop! He is excited to use the new tools and extra space to work on his senior design project with the rest of his class.
