On September 24, the Athletics Diversity Committee held their first event as a recognized organization on campus. The committee set up a table outside of the McQuade Library from 11:30 to 3:00 pm.

Armed with a handful of white t-shirts and sharpies, they asked passersby to come to the table and write the name of someone who has dealt with racial injustice. People could write their own names, someone they know personally, or someone they do not know.

The plan is to hang these t-shirts up in popular places around campus for the community to see and reflect on the problem of racial inujstice and discrimination in our community and our country. This event was not only a huge success, but also very impactful for the whole campus.
