It’s safe to say that a lot of Duane Stadium attendees were disappointed with the outcome of their Warriors, as they fell to the St. Francis Red Flashes 52-23. Quarterback Cole Doyle put on a show with 24 competitions on 30 attempts for 412 yards and 5 touchdowns. Wide receiver Dawyson Snyder had 7 receptions for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Red Flash offense was cooking for all four quarters, as they scored on almost every possession. 9 out of their 11 offense drives were able to put points on the board. As the Warriors obviously wish they could have won a conference championship in front of their home crowd, they were able to finish 8-3 to complete a winning record for the first time since 2013 when they finished 7-4. The Warriors have a lot to build on, but they look to have this tough finish to the season be a building block for 2023. With some seniors returning, other players look to hope that their football careers are not coming to an end.
