Merrimack Students Will Walk Across the Stage at May Graduation Ceremonies

On Wednesday, April 14, Merrimack released a Commencement update for the Class of 2021 and Class of 2020.

The college stated, “Now that we know how many students and guests will be on campus for Commencement, we have advanced our planning and are creating an experience that looks and feels like the ceremony all graduates have been looking forward to – including an opportunity to walk across the stage and be recognized individually  – while taking on the additional responsibility to do so safely.”

This update is something that the Class of 2021 is very thrilled about. Students are particularly thankful that they get the opportunity to walk across the stage and be celebrated.

The Class of 2021 will be celebrated in two ceremonies on Thursday, May 13, at Duane Stadium. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. for undergraduate students.

Graduate students will be celebrated in the Graduate Student Commencement at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13.

The Class of 2020 will be celebrated in one ceremony at Duane Stadium on Saturday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m. for both undergraduate students and graduate students.

Merrimack College asks the community to continue to monitor the commencement website as details leading up to the events may change due to moving state restrictions. The college will continue to provide more information as it relates to the complete schedule of events for our Commencement celebrations over the coming weeks. If anyone has questions, the College asks that you email the commencementoffice@merrimack.edu directly.
