Merrimack College’s Spring Internship and Career Fair was held on March 10 from 12:30 to 3:30pm. This fair is offered to current students of any year as well as alumni. This year there were over seventy companies attending the career fair and numerous sessions available for students to attend. These sessions included group informational sessions and one on one sessions with an employee at each company in attendance.
Merrimack’s Career Fairs allow students to be discovered by future employers as well as gain experience and knowledge from a more professional standpoint.
Though unlike years past, the 2021 Internship and Career Fair was virtual through Handshake, a platform students use to find internships and job opportunities. Any student of any major was welcome to attend and make a lasting impression on attending employers. It is always a great way to get feedback on one’s resume, ask questions of potential future employers, and get information in a field that one is interested in.
If you were unable to attend the Spring Internship and Career Fair, do not worry! The O’Brien Center for Career Development hosts other internship and career events, as well as recruiting events, a few times throughout the academic year for students to get the chance to attend.
