Paige Noyes, our dedicated Editor in Chief and President of The Beacon, is a senior majoring in Communication and Media. As a first-semester senior, Paige is on track to receive her undergraduate degree at the end of Fall 2025, but her journey with Merrimack won’t stop there—she plans to become a Double Warrior by applying for a Communications Fellowship Position. With her leadership, vision, and commitment to the paper, Paige is guiding The Beacon to new heights while preparing for an exciting future in the field of communications.
Matt O’Connor, our hardworking Associate Editor in Chief and Vice President of The Beacon, is a junior majoring in Communication and Media with a minor in Film Studies. Beyond his leadership role with the paper, Matt brings his creative eye to MCTV, where he serves as Head Editor. Looking ahead, Matt is planning to continue his Merrimack journey as a Double Warrior, further building on his passion for media and storytelling.
Wynne Drucker, a senior majoring in Communication and Media with a minor in Public Relations, keeps our newspaper connected and thriving as Secretary and Social Media Director. Outside the newsroom, Wynne shines on the Merrimack Dance Team, contributes her creativity to MCTV, and challenges herself in the Honors Program. Balancing leadership, academics, and performance, Wynne brings energy, organization, and school spirit to everything she does—making her an essential part of our campus community.
Kyle McDonald, a senior double-majoring in Psychology and Communication & Media with a minor in Public Relations, who keeps our newspaper sharp as both Treasurer and Sports Editor. Beyond the pages of the paper, Kyle is everywhere on campus—serving as Vice President of MCTV, President of the Psychology Club, an Honors Ambassador, and a dedicated Resident Advisor. Whether he’s breaking down the latest sports stories, leading student organizations, or supporting his peers, Kyle’s leadership and passion make him a true MVP of campus life.
Joey Motroni, a sophomore Communication & Media major with minors in Digital Media Production and Sport Management, brings a fresh perspective to our paper as Associate Sports Editor. Joey’s love for sports and media doesn’t stop there—he’s also active with MCTV, serves as Co-Sports Director for WMCK, and is Secretary for DREAM. With his drive, creativity, and campus involvement, Joey is already making his mark as a rising leader in both sports coverage and student life.
Andrew Daume, a senior Communication and Media major with minors in Public Relations and Digital Media Production, brings creativity and energy to our newspaper as an Arts and Entertainment writer. Beyond the newsroom, Andrew wears many hats on campus — serving as President of MCTV, a member of the Honors Program and Ambassadors, a dedicated Residence Advisor, and a performer with Mackapella. Whether he’s crafting engaging stories, leading media projects, or taking the stage, Andrew’s passion for storytelling and campus life make him a standout voice in our community.
