Merrimack College Television (MCTV) ended the month of September with their first live production of the semester. As one of their primary focuses, MCTV puts out a student-run show at the end of each month as a culmination of everything that was filmed by the club. Hosted by Sophia Tersoni ’29 and Kristin Feurstein ‘29, this month’s show was filled to the brim with exciting spotlights on various groups and events around campus.
The show kicked off with a look at the 2026 Block Party. Photography Club President and MCTV member Chris Brieva ‘28 spoke with students about the incredible food and entertainment that was present during the event. Also featured was a recap of the Unity House’s Kick Off Event. Ella Denney 27’ gave viewers a tour of what went down and spotlighted some of the hardworking Unity House Coordinators.
Both MCTV and WMCK featured spotlights of their own showing students why they should get involved and join both clubs. Headlined by Ava Alexopoulos 27’, this look at WMCK provides a look at all of the tools needed to host and produce a radio show. Similarly, MCTV’s spotlight featured their E-Board who each gave their own perspectives on the importance of the club.
An exclusive look at Mission Merrimack was also shown off. Directed by MCTV Advisor Chuck Scott, this upcoming hockey documentary recounts the story of how the Merrimack Men’s Hockey team made it to their championship and took home the trophy. The full documentary is expected to be released this semester.
Finally, the show ended with two segments hosted by Sophia Tersoni. Question On The Field saw members of the Football Team being asked various questions during their practice at Duane Stadium.
