MC Selfie

Lawrence Williams ’15, Staff Writer

Selfie PromoTaking a selfie is nothing new, but being rewarded for taking a selfie while studying is. McQuade library is now hosting a contest where students can tweet a selfie of themselves to @McQuade_Library. The picture can be of you anywhere in the library being studious.

Joe St. Germaine, McQuade reference/access associate, mentioned that the contest is open to students and staff, but rewards will only be given to a few selected students. The students selected will win Dunkin Donuts gift cards and be featured on the library website. “Were looking for ways to interact with our students while keeping up with today’s trends”, said St. Germaine. This is an opportunity to become a part of an interactive library. “The library is a great place to have fun while studying”, said St. Germaine. McQuade wants students to see the library as a welcoming space committed to helping students use available resources and services to succeed at their scholarly pursuits. The contest lasts from September 6th to October 10th.
