With the spring semester winding down it’s time for seniors to enjoy their last few weeks on campus as undergraduates. An exciting night is approaching, as Senior Formal will be taking place this Saturday, April 25th. Seniors will be making memories at the Sheraton Boston Hotel on Dalton Street, just a few blocks away from Fenway Park. The senior Class Council organized the event, consisting of a cash bar for students, a three-course meal and a live DJ with a dance floor to celebrate their approaching graduation. Additionally, students attending were offered a discounted price for hotel rooms at the Sheraton.
President of the senior Class Council, Frankie Quinci is responsible for the set up of formal night, along with Kelly Vaillancourt, Jess Stone, Mary Murphy, Bri Burke, Courtney See and Jen Erikson. They are confident that those who attend will enjoy there night. Frankie said that the three-course meal is a surprise but it will be set up in a buffet style. Frankie also explained that the DJ will have a request list available for those who want to request songs that will be played throughout the night.
Spring semester is a bittersweet time for seniors, and Formal is not any different. Biana Robles said, “I am really excited but at the same time sad because it is probably the last time I am going to see a lot of my friends all in one place. It’s going to be so fun, I can’t wait to dress up and dance with all my friends!” Senior, Kyle Singleton who attended last years Senior Formal is ready for one last formal before he graduates in May. When asked about what he hopes is different this year Kyle said, “I hope that the drinks are a little cheaper because last year they were way to expensive.”
Senior formal is here which means it’s one last hoorah for seniors before upcoming senior week and graduation. Everyone be safe and enjoy yourself and your friends!
