Covid-19 restrictions won’t stop Merrimack students from staying involved this semester! With almost 60 clubs and organizations on campus, student leaders are still actively promoting and looking to gain involvement, despite things looking a little different this year.
A virtual involvement fair took place September 4 via the “Warrior Network,” each organization having their own zoom link that students could join between 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
“The virtual involvement fair was a great way to get more info about the organizations that I wanted to be a part of and also find out what other clubs there were,” freshman Alex Conte said. “I had a good experience and things went smoothly, I’m glad Merrimack found a way to do this with everything going.”
In addition, small in-person involvement fairs also took place the 16-18 of September. Two representatives from each organization sat at tables located outside of the Hub, McQuade Library, Sakowhich center, and near some residence halls on campus. Students were encouraged to stop by at tables that interested them, and learn more about participating clubs.
If students missed the involvement fairs but would still like to get more involved on campus, they are encouraged to reach out to the Office of Student Involvement for contact information and instructions on how to join any club or organization.
