New York, NY – The NFL’s divisional rivalries are getting a fresh look for the 2026 season. The AFC South and NFC North have unveiled their new Rivalries uniforms, giving all eight teams a chance to showcase designs that put a different spin on their traditional identities.
Detroit Lions: A Motor City Makeover – The Detroit Lions are bringing a clean, modern look to their Rivalries uniform with a predominantly white jersey accented by the team’s signature Honolulu Blue. The design puts a fresh spin on Detroit’s classic color scheme while maintaining the identity that has become synonymous with the Motor City.
The jersey features bold black numbers outlined in Honolulu Blue, with blue detailing around the collar, sleeves and helmet that stands out against the white base. It is a sharp departure from the Lions’ traditional home look while still feeling unmistakably Detroit.
Jacksonville Jaguars: A Classic Black-and-White Look – The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking a sleek and bold approach with their Rivalries uniform, featuring a white jersey with black numbers outlined by teal and gold accents. The look is complemented by patterned black pants, teal-and-gold striping and, most notably, striking teal helmets with gold facemasks that immediately command attention.
The combination of white, black, teal and gold gives Jacksonville a distinctive appearance that stands apart from the team’s traditional uniforms. The teal helmets are especially eye-catching, giving the Jaguars a modern and aggressive look while still embracing the colors that have defined the franchise.
Green Bay Packers: Going Back to Their Roots – The Green Bay Packers are embracing their history with a vintage-inspired Rivalries uniform. The jersey prominently features the team’s iconic green and gold color scheme while giving the familiar combination a noticeably different presentation.
The classic design feels right at home for one of the NFL’s most historic franchises. Green Bay’s uniform shows that a new rivalry look does not necessarily mean abandoning tradition.
Minnesota Vikings: A Nod to Their Norse Roots – The Minnesota Vikings are leaning heavily into their Norse heritage with a Rivalries uniform that combines the franchise’s signature deep purple with ivory and metallic gold accents. The design features Nordic knot patterns inspired by the knots found on the Gjallarhorn at U.S. Bank Stadium, while the pattern on the pants comes to a point to symbolize a sword.
The uniform also introduces a new, chiseled “VIKINGS” wordmark and two-tone numbers designed to resemble stone, drawing inspiration runes. The helmet continues the theme with “SKOL” written in Viking Age rune characters, a central design element inspired by the nose piece of a historical Viking element, and a metallic-gold facemask that completes the look.
Tennessee Titans: Music City Takes the Field – The Tennessee Titans are bringing Nashville’s musical identity directly onto the field with their Rivalries uniform. The design features a monochrome deep navy jersey and pants combination, topped off by a vibrant Titans Blue helmet that gives the look a distinctive appearance.
The jersey replaces the traditional Titans chest script with a custom “Music City” design, while the numbers draw inspiration from the neon signage of Nashville’s famous Lower Broadway honky-tonks. A six-string guitar-inspired stripe runs vertically along the pants, creating a direct connection to the city’s musical heritage while giving the Titans a fresh take on their familiar two-tone blue identity.
Houston Texans: By the H. For the H. – The Houston Texans are putting H-Town at the center of their Rivalries uniform with a predominantly white design that represents the city’s culture and identity. The “iced-out” look features the franchise’s first Liberty White helmet, which pays tribute to the very first helmet prototype held up by late Founder Robert C. McNair in 1999. It is paired with H-Town Blue accents and metallic details that give the uniform a distinctive appearance.
The uniform incorporates several Houston-inspired elements, including a chrome H-Town Blue facemask influenced by the city’s slab car culture, “Be Someone” stencil-style numbers and street-tile-inspired nameplates. A custom “HOUSTON/US” detail on the inner collar further emphasizes the connection between the Texans and their community.
The white, blue and red color combination may remind some fans of Houston’s football history, but the Texans’ stated inspiration for the Rivalries uniform is centered on modern H-Town culture rather than specifically serving as an Oilers tribute. The result is a uniform designed to represent Houston itself while giving the Texans a fresh look for their divisional rivalry with Indianapolis.
Chicago Bears: The Return of the Monsters – The Chicago Bears are leaning heavily into their storied history with a Rivalries uniform built around the theme “Return of the Monsters.” The navy jersey features burnt-orange numbers outlined in white, while the orange pants and traditional orange helmet create a bold look that connects the modern Bears to several iconic eras of the franchise.
The uniform is packed with historical details, including numbers inspired by the Bears’ 1948 design, a replica “GSH” patch honoring George Halas and a “Monsters of the Midway” inscription inside the collar. The helmet also features the traditional navy “C” outlined in white, an updated “BEARS” bumper and four stars from the Chicago city flag, while the orange pants feature a vertical navy-and-white double stripe.
The Bears will wear the Rivalries uniform on Christmas Day against the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field, giving one of the NFL’s oldest rivalries an entirely new visual backdrop. The combination of historic references and a bold orange-heavy presentation makes the uniform feel like a modern celebration of Chicago football rather than a complete departure from tradition.
Indianapolis Colts: Anvil Strike – The Indianapolis Colts are taking their Rivalries uniform in a much darker direction with an”Anvil Strike” design inspired by the team’s pregame anvil-striking tradition. The uniform features a dark anthracite jersey and matching pants, creating a dramatic departure from the Colts’ traditional white-based appearance.
A metallic blue helmet gives the look an additional modern edge, while a silver horseshoe is integrated directly into the jersey shoulders for the first time in franchise history. Reflective accents throughout the uniform are designed to mimic the sparks created when the pregame anvil is struck, while an “INDY” wordmark on the helmet bumper and “For The Shoe” inside the collar add Indianapolis-specific touches.
The result is one of the biggest visual departures from tradition among the Rivalries uniforms. While the Colts remain recognizable through their horseshoe and signature blue, the darker palette and metallic elements give Indianapolis an entirely new identity for its divisional rivalry games.
Rivalries, Reimagined – With eight teams across the AFC South and NFC North sporting new looks, the 2026 Rivalries collection adds another layer to some of the NFL’s most competitive divisional matchups. From Detroit’s modern Motor City aesthetic to Green Bay’s vintage approach, each uniform brings something different to the table.
Now that the designs have been revealed, the debate can begin: which team won the Rivalries uniform battle?
