With Fuddruckers less than a mile down the street, the menu is a staple in any Merrimack College student’s diet.
On Oct. 21, students from Merrimack’s Student Government Association visited the North Andover restaurant to try menu items that were named with Merrimack College in mind.
The Merrimack Warrior is a ½ pound beef burger with American cheese, mushrooms, and bacon.
“The Merrimack burger is very simple, but different than other menu items,” said sophomore and SGA Senator Amanda Alcox.
The Merrimack shake is a cookies and cream flavor, a favorite at Fuddruckers. Sophomore and SGA Parliamentarian Devin Clemons is a big fan.
“The shake was my personal favorite. It is an Oreo shake with whipped cream and blue and yellow sprinkles to represent Merrimack’s colors. It is the best thing I have ever tasted and the colored sprinkles add a fun aesthetic to drinking it. The shake is fantastic and it is something that i would order every time I go to Fuddruckers.”
SGA members like Alcox and Clemons encourage students to go and try out the menu items named for Merrimack as the restaurant is right across the street from campus.
“The fact that Fuddruckers has Merrimack items might make people feel more personally invested in the restaurant and may want to go try it out,” said Alcox.
