The pandemic ended a good amount of annual activities that brought excitement to the Merrimack College campus each year. Happily, though a lot of things are coming back this year. One of those things is the Film Club’s annual spring Film Festival. The Film Club and collaboration with the Communications and Media Department are looking for a 5 to 10-minute film that falls in the theme “Just Be Weird”. There are prizes for the top three films that will be decided by judges from the Communications Department that will use a rubric to determine the winners. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 20th of 2022 at 5 pm in McQuade Library Auditorium. The films must be submitted by April 6th. To enter the contest simply sign up using a QR code on flyers primarily on the second floor of Cushing on the Communication Department floor. This is where you will be added to a google drive where you can upload your films. This sounds like a fun event and hopefully many will participate to bring the festival back to life after two years of no go of the festival.
