Captain’s Corner

Marie Delarbre (Junior, Women’s Ice Hockey)

Where are you from?
I’m from Fuessen, Germany.

What’s your major?
Sports Management major and a minor in French.

How long have you been playing hockey for?
I’ve been playing hockey for 14 years.

What has been the highlight of your season so far?
The highlight of the season so far was when we beat Colgate and I scored two goals.

What do you want to accomplish by the end of the season?
We want to win more games and prove other teams that underestimate us wrong. At the end of the season we also want to be better and more skilled. 
Personally, as a captain, I want to get more points, but I also want to help all younger players on the team and make them feel comfortable. 


What is the key to achieving that goal?
The key to achieving that goal is hard work and confidence. It’s also important to work as a team and support each other on and off the ice.

Hampus Gustafsson (Junior, Men’s Ice Hockey)

Where are you from?
I’m from a small town called Ljungby in Sweden.

What’s your major?
I am a Business major with concentrations in Management and Marketing.

How long have you been playing hockey for?
Since I was 5 years old, so a little bit over 17 years.

What has been the highlight of your season so far?
Beating Boston University at home in front of a great crowd.

What do you want to accomplish by the end of the season?
Winning a championship.

What is the key to achieving that goal?
We have to keep getting better every weekend and play our best hockey at the end of the season during the playoffs.
