Tara Stuhr (Senior, Volleyball)
Where are you from?
I am from Huntington Beach, California.
What is your major?
I am a Finance and Marketing major(s).
How long have you been playing volleyball for?
I’ve been playing volleyball since I was ten years old.
What do you want to accomplish this season?
This season my main goal is to make it to the NCAA tournament. We’ve come close several times, but never actually got the bid to go.
What is the key to achieving that goal?
In order to achieve this goal, we need to establish a level on consistency and hold each other accountable to this standard. If we can consistently perform at a high standard, I’m confident we will win the NE10 championship, which will grant us a bid to the tournament.
Alessandra Ricigliano (Junior, Golf)
Where are you from?
I am from Scarsdale, New York.
What is your major?
I am a Criminology major with a minor in Law, Ethics, and Society. I might pick up a Business minor as well in the future.
How long have you been playing golf for?
I’ve been playing golf since I was around 11, so about nine years now.
What do you want to accomplish this season?
This season I hope to be able to go to super regionals with my teammates.
What is the key to achieving that goal?
We have to focus on our individual games. We have a solid team filled with many talented girls, so we just have to stay confident in our abilities and do what we do best.
