Merrimack College holds many beloved traditions during the year. Some come as the season changes and others are sparked by the cold weather creeping up behind us. The Celebration of Light and Hope is one of the college’s annual holiday events to kick-off the holiday season with spirit.
The event takes place today with events beginning at 5:30 p.m. outside of the Rogers Center For The Arts.
Some events that will showcase the event will be ice skating in Lawler rink, singing from carolers, food and novelties. But, what’s a holiday kick-off without a special visit from Santa Claus which will follow the tree lighting that will take place outside of Cullen Ave and the Merrimack Athletics Complex.
Students, faculty and staff are all welcomed to come together and celebrate the joyful season ahead. Outside guests are also more than welcome to join the Winter festivities.
Please be aware that the College has a COVID-19 vaccine mandate on campus. For guests over the age of 12 they must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. For guests under the age of 12 they must wear a face covering at all times.
