Wearing sunglasses not only protects your eyes and skin around them from harmful UV rays of the sun but also other phenomena such as sand and dirt being flicked into your eyes while walking, driving or riding a motorcycle. The wind can carry minute particles of sand and other substances that can cause serious irritation to the eyes if they reach them. Wearing sunglasses during these times protects them from such accidents. Wind, rain, sun and dust can constantly bother our eyesight unless we take adequate precaution against them.
